Chartres is a relatively short train ride out of Paris and home to the magnificent, UNESCO World Heritage listed Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Chartres. The cathedral has a large collection of 12th and 13th century stained glass windows, the most famous of which is the beautiful, and very blue, "Belle Verrière".
